DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTION BUTTONS
START BUTTON:
PRE-WASH BUTTON:
This function effects a short wash of approximately 15 minutes duration at a maximum
temperature of 40°C. The function can only be used for Cotton and Synthetic progra-
ms.

When this button is pressed, the machine carries out a wash cycle and stops before
spinning.
SPIN EXCLUSION BUTTON:
PROGRAMMER KNOB “STOP:
The stop function resets the washing machine. If, for any reason, you want to change
the wash program or add more washing to the load during the wash cycle, simply place
the programmer knob in position “Stop”.
Then re-position the knob on the new program and press the “START” button. From
the moment the programmer knob is positioned on “Stop”, the “Start” button will start
to fl ash.
This function allows the machine to start the cycle after all the operations described in
paragraph “Using the washing machine” have been carried out.
N.B.: When this option is used, the detergent must also be added to the
appropriate pre-wash compartment.
USING THE MACHINE AS A DRIER
WARNING!! Do not attempt to dry items treated with solvents or petroleum based products as these
substances are volatile and may cause an explosion.
N.B.!! before using the drier, remove any plastic detergent containers. Take care not to over-dry the washing,
as excessive drying could crease clothing and make the items diffi cult to iron. Do not use the drier to dry
sleeping bags, pillows or bulky blankets, as these items expand on drying and could block the fl ow of air in
the machine. Remove any objects from the pockets of clothing before putting them in the drum,

. Load the machine and close the door. Remember, in order to obtain the best possible drying results, do
not exceed the recommended loads.
2 . Select the drying time using the timer knob.
3 . Rotate the programmer knob to the “DRY” position.
4 . Open the water feed valve and leave it open for the entire duration of the drying cycle.
N.B. When effecting a drying cycle, make sure that this button is not pressed.
N.B.: The use of the optional functions depends on the type of programme selected.
Consequently, if the wash programme does not include the function, the button
cannot be enabled (see PROGRAMME TABLE”.
Warning! Warning!! only use this function if strictly necessary and then only if the program
to reset has been running for a few minutes.
