Turn off the power at the joystick. Reference the power chair Owner’s Manual.

Ensure the unit is in drive mode. Reference the power chair Owner’s Manual.
Disconnect and remove the batteries. Reference the power chair Owner’s Manual.

Remove the front battery door from the power base. The front riggings may need to be
removed to access the release levers.

Situate the unit so the mounting holes (5)
can be accessed with adequate clearance
from both the inside of the battery cavity
and from the underside of the base frame.
