OVEN LIGHT AND COOLING FAN
By turning the knob onto this setting we light the oven cavity (15 W). The oven remains
alight while any of the functions is on.
There is also a cooling fan that comes on when you select any function for the top
oven. It will remain on all through the cooking period and for a short time afterwards
GRILLING
The infrared grill comes on. The heat is dispersed by radiation.
Use with the thermostat knob set to 200°C max and the oven door closed.
For cooking hints, see the below chapter “GRILLING and AU GRATIN”.
Recommended for:
Intense grilling, browning, cooking au gratin and toasting etc.
It is recommended that you do not grill for longer than 30 minutes at any one
time.
Caution: The oven door becomes very hot during operation. Keep children well
out of reach.
Always grill with the oven door closed
TRADITIONAL CONVECTION COOKING
The upper and lower heating elements are switched on.
The heat is diffused by natural convection and the temperature must be regulated
between 50°C and 250°C with the thermostat knob. It is necessary to preheat the oven
before introducing the foods to be cooked.
During cooking, do not open the door unless it is absolutely necessary.
Recommended for:
For foods which require the same cooking temperature both internally and externally, i.
e. roasts, spare ribs, meringue, etc.
