Calibration will then begin and takes approximately 10-15
seconds.
Ensure pressure and contact is held between the probe
pen and the Calibration Disc at all times, and do not
move the probe pen during this time.
Calibration is complete when the display screen shows
the completed calibration progress bar and the word
“Success” appears on the screen.
Aside from the prompted calibration at start-up, it is
also a good standard operating procedure to check and
perform the calibration procedure periodically, especially
during an extended period of testing.
It is advisable to calibrate when any of the below
situations arise:
I. You have repeatedly obtained an inaccurate result
against a known gold sample
II. After every refill to get a better reading
III. When you change the probe tip of the probe pen
To go to Calibrate, press “Enter” on the third option in the
main menu.

When Calibrate is selected, the tester will go into
calibration mode and you may follow the instructions as
they appear on the display screen.
