Preview Mode
The Preview Mode is very useful for setting up the desired camera angle before recording.
In the Preview Mode the live camera image is displayed on the LCD screen but the camera is not
recording. This allows accurate adjustment of the camera’s field of view without using up valuable
memory.
The preview mode can be accessed from the
Main Menu by the following method:
o
Turn on the VX360 and ensure the camera is connected correctly.
o
Using the UP/DOWN buttons to highlight the Recorder Settings from the Main
Menu and press PLAY/PAUSE to confirm the selection and enter the Recorder
Settings menu
o
Select the Video Line in REC menu option using the UP/DOWN buttons, pressing
the PLAY/PAUSE to confirm the selection
o
The VX360 will now enter Preview Mode .
o
To exit Preview Mode either press RECORD to start recording or STOP to return to
the Recorder Settings menu
Tip
Preview Mode shows the live image
from the camera whilst the VX360 is
not recording. In this mode the top
right of the screen displays the
recording capacity available and the
top left provides the video quality
setting. There is also a message
displayed instructing you on how to
resume recording.
