VFD BYPASS MODE
About VFD Bypass Mode
A VFD can be bypassed for troubleshooting or to operate a
pump if its VFD fails. The motor is operated across-the-line,
which means that the pump will operate at full speed regardless
of changes in demand.
Systems can come with two different VFD Bypass configurations:
1. VFD Bypass Switch or HMI Button
OR
2. Hardwiring VFD Bypass
DANGER: Improperly bypassing a VFD can cause
serious equipment damage, severe injury or death.

Restart Delay
The VFD frequency associated with the
minimum toque value.
Underload fault occurs when this torque value
is reached at the above Frequency setting.
Delay between fault value detection and
system fault occurs.
The number of times the system attempts to
restart pumps after an Underload Fault has
occurred.
Time between restart trials.

About Underload Settings
The underload function is an
automatic pump protection
feature used for run-dry
prevention. A pump is determined to be running dry if there is too
little torque utilized at the specified frequency.
About Prime Loss Settings
Systems equipped with a wet
switch (point level sensor) will signal a prime loss fault if the
pump is not filled completely with water.
