Rear Panel Controls
Located on the right side of each Rear Panel is the
UPS ON/OFF Switch, a set of dip switches, and the
Communication Port.
When the switch is ON, the UPS will turn on if
normal AC input is applied. All models will
operate normally when the unit is plugged in.
When the switch is OFF, it prevents the unit
from operating.

S witches 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 are user-defined
switches. Off is the default position. See The
Dip Switch Configuration tables in the Installation
section for explanations of each configuration.

When the optional Interface Cable is plugged into
this port, the UPS and a computer can communi-
cate. See the Communication Port Configuration
Table in this section for detailed information.
