Operation
As the unit powers up, it will go through a self-
diagnosis for about 5 seconds. During this test,
each LED turns on individually, from the bottom
up by row, starting with the Site-Wiring Fault
LED. The UPS runs various tests while turning on
the LEDs.

Load Bar (3rd) Regulation test
The test also looks at the utility line to see if the
ground is properly connected. If there are any
problems, the front panel LEDs will indicate the
problem and the audio alarm will beep twice. At the
end of the test the audio alarm will sound one short
beep. This section explains the UPS operation. See
the Troubleshooting Guide in Chapter 6 for more
information.
Front Panel
The Front Panels of all the UPSs are the same.
Each front panel contains LEDs that give you
information and warnings about the unit’s opera-
tion. Also on the front panel is the Alarm Silence/
Reset Button. The following pictures explain the
LEDs and the Alarm Silence/Reset Button.
