Trouble-Shooting for Model 1200HD Drill Press
PROBLEM

Excessive vibration.
1. Improper belt tension.
1. Adjust belt tension.
2. Uneven belt wear (hard spots).

3. Motor or spindle pulley out-of-balance.

Motor stalls
1. Over feeding.
1. Reduce feed rate.

2. Sharpen drill and keep sharp.

in all three legs on three phase motor
and replace if necessary.

Noisy operation.
1. Excessive vibration.

4. Check motor bearings or for loose
