To set up a new Ethernet/Rabbit board, the following 4 commands must be completed:
INIT (Initialize) – this command MUST be run first after installing a new rabbit board or after if a battery was replaced on the rabbit board
when the alarm panel was not under 120 VAC power.
PPN (program panel name) – this command programs the name of the alarm panel as it will be displayed on the website and recorded in the
event log. In the example below, we have named the alarm panel West Wing.
PDT (program date/time) – this command programs the date and time as it will be displayed on the website and recorded in the event log.
PIP (program panel IP) – this command programs the rabbit board’s IP address.
