Sometimes it may be necessary to check for intermittent connection problems. The circuit
wiggle test allows you to wiggle, twist, pull, push and flex wires or connectors and observe a
circuit change. The “SMART” transmitter monitors the condition of the circuit and alerts you
to any change in that circuit. Since the TOGGLE TONE button cycles the tone on and off, so
will a change in the circuit. For example, grounding an open circuit or cutting open a grounded
circuit will toggle the tone of the “SMART” transmitter, alerting you to the change.
This figure shows the transmitter connected and sending a signal down the closed circuit and it
is beeping low (1 kHz). In the event of a break in the circuit, the transmitter will instantly stop
beeping.
Now lets say you don’t want the beep constantly on while you are testing but want to be
alerted when the circuit condition changes.
Depress the TOGGLE TONE button to turn off the beep. Now, when you get a circuit change,
the tone will begin beeping high (2 kHz) indicates that the circuit is open.This will also work
for testing open circuits, for loose connections or breaks.
En ocasiones es necesario probar problemas de condiciones de conexiones intermitentes. La

Ahora digamos que usted no desea el sonido (bip) sonando constantemente mientras usted
hace sus pruebas, pero quiere ser alertado cuando la condición del circuito cambie.
Oprima el boteón ACODADO DE TONO para desactivar el (bip) tono. Ahora cuando consiga
un cambio en el circuito, el tono comenzara a sonar (bipin) alto (2kHz) indicando que el
circuito esta abierto.
Esto también funcionara para probar circuitos abiertos, conexiones sueltas o aperturas.
