16.1.3 Checks of the ACBOX area
The following checks regard the cooling
system
and the protection devices
positioned in the ACBOX area, and it is
therefore necessary to remove the front
panel indicated in Figure 10-9.

Before removing the panel, carry out the
operations to switch off the inverter.
DISCONNECT the AC voltage and wait at
least 5 minutes before removing!
Replace the panel after the checks have
been completed.
16.1.3.1 Fan control

The module fans are monitored
automatically when the inverter is
functioning, and therefore they do
not need to be checked.
To check the correct functioning of the fans
in the ACBOX area, carry out the following
procedure:
Note the current position of the
thermostat shown in Figure 16-6 (in
order to restore the initial condition
later: it is normally set at approx. 40°C).
The thermostat is situated behind the
clamps group (Figure 10-10 – (6) and Figure
10-11 – (4)).

Turn the knob of the thermostat
temperature
completely counter-
clockwise (the QS2 switch must be ON).
In this position of the thermostat the
fans will be activated. Make sure all are
moving regularly and do not produce
unusual noises.
Turn the thermostat back to the value
noted previously.

16.1.3.2 Check of the power switch
operation
To check, press with a screwdriver the
button indicated with the word TEST on
the disconnecting switch (Figure 10-10
– (4) and Figure 10-11 – (3)). Make sure
that the knob turns clockwise from the
“ position to the yellow “Tripped”.0”
