HOW TO STOP YOUR PRESSURE WASHER
IMPORTANT! The spray gun can trap high pressure water, even when engine
is stopped and disconnected from the water source.
1. Release the spray gun trigger.
2. Move the engine’s throttle lever to the MIN. position, the engine switch to the
OFF position and the fuel valve to the OFF position. Consult the Engine manual
for complete instructions.
a. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position to stop the engine in
an emergency.
3. Aim the spray gun in a safe direction and squeeze spray gun trigger to release
retained high pressure water.
4. Set the trigger lock.
PRESSURE NOZZLE SET UP
1. Turn off the pressure washer and release pressure in the system before
attempting to change the pressure nozzle.
2. Pull the spray wand’s quick coupler collar back.
a. The quick coupler collar is automatically retracted without a pressure
nozzle inserted in the wand.
3. Place one of the three quick-connect pressure nozzles into the wand’s
quick coupler.
4. Check the position of the pressure nozzle’s opening. This will determine the
spray angle when the spray gun is held in a level position.
5. Press down on the nozzle. The collar will snap forward with a loud click. The
nozzle is locked in place.
6. Pull the high pressure nozzle and spray wand in opposite directions to
ensure they do not separate.
PRESSURE NOZZLE SELECTION
The pressure washer has three spray nozzles. Each nozzle is color coded and
delivers a specific spray arc between 0° and 65°. The narrower the degree arc,
the higher the pressure at the water spray’s point of contact with the item being
cleaned. Distance from the item that is being sprayed will also factor into the
pressure level at the point of contact.
