OPERATION
1. Clean the air hose of accumulated dust and moisture before connecting the tool to the air
supply.
a. An in-line filter-regulator-lubricator installed as close to the tool as possible is
recommended for this task.
2. Supply the tool with 90 PSI of clean, dry air. Connect the tool to the air line as per the diagram
in section AIR COMPRESSOR.
3. Squeeze the Lever (#13) to operate the tool. Heed all safety warnings found in this manual.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Ensure that the air line is shut off and drained of air before removing the tool for service or
changing accessories. This will prevent accidental operation of the tool.
1. Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to control and will
prevent unnecessary problems.
2. Keep the tool handles clean, dry and free from oil/grease at all times.
3. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
4. Inspect the tool fittings periodically. Have damaged or worn components repaired or replaced
by an authorized technician.
5.
Inspect the tool fittings, alignment and hoses and power supply cord and components
periodically. Have damaged or worn components repaired or replaced by an authorized
technician.
6. Maintain the tool’s label and name plate. These carry important information. If unreadable or
missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for replacements.
CAUTION! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool.
LUBRICATION
Only use the lubricants supplied with the tool or specified by the manufacturer. Other lubricants may not
be suitable and may damage the tool or cause a malfunction during use.
CAUTION! NEVER use a penetrating oil to lubricate. Penetrating oils can act as a solvent that will
break down the grease and may cause the tool to seize up.
1. Use an air line lubricator with air tool oil adjusted to two (2) drops per minute.
2. If an air line lubricator cannot be used, add air motor oil to the inlet once per day.
