5. Do not smoke while operating the tool. Nicotine reduces the blood flow to the hands and
fingers, increasing the risk of vibration-related injury.
6. Wear suitable gloves to reduce the effects of vibration.
7. Use the tool with the least amount of vibration, when there is a choice between different
processes.
8. Do not use for extended periods. Take frequent breaks to when using this tool.
9. Let the tool do the work. Grip the tool as lightly as possible (while still keeping safe control of
it).
10. To reduce vibrations, maintain the tool as explained in this manual. If abnormal vibrations
occur, stop using this tool immediately.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! Immediately switch off the tool if any of the following occurs:

The switch or trigger is broken.
•
The tool will not shut off on it own. Disconnect from air source.
•
The user sees or smells smoke.
•
The user smells the odor of scorched insulation

other reproductive harm. Reduce your exposure to these chemicals by wearing appropriate safety
equipment such as dust masks designed to filter out microscopic particles. Avoid inhaling vapours
and dust. Wash hands thoroughly after using this tool.
1. Do not use hand sockets with this tool as they can shatter.
a. Only use impact sockets in good condition.
2. Always use the simplest hook-up possible.
a. Long extension bars and adapters absorb power and can break.
3. Use deep sockets wherever possible.
4. Do not operate this tool when it is not securely attached to the workpiece.
5. Serious injury can result from over torqued or under torqued fasteners.
a. Released assemblies can become dangerous projectiles.
b. Check all assemblies requiring a specific torque setting with a torque wrench.
NOTE:
Using a ‘click’ torque wrench does not check for potentially dangerous over-torqued
conditions.
