hot plate assemblies should slide out along the supporting
rods.
6
Once removed, be careful to gently rest the hot plate
assembly on a dry, clean, flat work-surface, taking care not to
damage the heater element pins protruding from the rear of
the hot plate assembly.
7
Cleaning of the hot plate and hot plate assembly should be
performed
using a clean damp cloth only
.
8
At no time should the hot plates or hot plate assembly come
into contact with fluids of any kind or be submerged in water
or liquid cleaning solutions and under no circumstances
should the hot plates or hot plate assembly be cleaned using
a dishwasher. Any of the above will void the manufacturer’s
warranty.
9
No cleaning agents or solvent solutions should be used in the
cleaning process. Using cleaning agents and/or solvents will
also void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Reinstalling the hot plate assembly
1
Before carrying out this procedure, ensure the machine is
turned off, the machine is completely cooled down and the
machine has been unplugged from the power source.
2
Position the hot plate assembly so that the two square
channels (located at the rear of the hot plate assembly), align
with the two support rods (protruding from inside the
machine), and glide the hot plate assembly inward until it
engages and until the ends of the support rods are flush with
the front side of the hot plate assembly. Do not use excessive
force when performing this procedure as this may cause
misalignment of the rods and/or cause damage to the
temperature probes and/or heater element pins that protrude
from the rear of the hot plate assembly.
3
It will be evident that the hot plates are in place when the
ends of the supporting rods are visible and flush with the front
of the hot plate assembly.
4
The lug nuts can now be screwed back on. This should be an
easy process and the lug nuts should be tightened firmly. Do
not use excessive force when tightening the lug nuts as
threading may occur.
5
Replace the belts as per procedure above (Belt Changing
assembly).
