Time Allowed to Live: unit-millisecond
DatSet: data NR with maximum 65 bits
NdsCom: boolean
VLAN ID, VLAN Priority: users are required to set while connecting with switcher.
Fast repetitions T1: The default value is 2ms.
Max. Repetition interval T0: The default value is 5000ms.
Set the parameters while making GOOSE publish:
Time Allowed to Live: if it exceeds the time during transmitting GOOSE
message, it will judge the GOOSE disconnected. Generally, the default is
10,000ms.
Test: Usually, it is False. When user does the inspection test, it is set True
The GOOSE publish configurations should keep the same with the received GOOSE
message. It includes: GoRef, GoID, APPID, MAC, ConfRev, timeAllowedtoLive, Dataset,
NdsCom and Test. After configured these data, users need to the detailed data in the
dataset etc. If there is one parameter different, the relay can’t receive the correct GOOSE
message.
The type of GOOSE Data:
There are seven types of editable data: BOOLEAN, Unsigned Integer, UTCTime, BitString,
Float, dual-position remote signal and structure showing in table 4.1
Table 4.1 the expression ways of data types
Data type
Expression way
Boolean
True or False or Out1 (2, 3, 4)
If the data is Out1, it maps with binary output. The
value is controlled by binary output.
Unsigned Integer
Decimalinteger without symbol such as 12
UTC Time
UtcTime
BitString
[Data NR. With 1, 0] (such as: [110000])
Float
mm.yy(such as 1.2)
Dual-position
remote
signal
[10]
Occlusion position or
Out1(x)_Dbpos
If the data is
Out(x)_Dbpos, the
data is relevant to
the binary output.
[01] Lane or Out1(x)_Dbpos
