MAINTENANCE and OPERATING CHECKS
It is essential to switch off the electric power before checking or maintenance operations, making sure that it can not
inadvertently be reconnected
. Don ’ t use the mixer if the cable is damaged, even if with small cuts of the outer sheath!
MONTHLY CONTROLS
Carefully check the condition of the cables and cable glands. Ensure that the end of cable is protected and not
submerged in the liquid, to avoid infiltration.
Check that the external parts (shackles, chains, guide pipes) are intact, and that the screws and nuts are tight.
Check that the noise level of the bearings meets the optimal conditions of the first start-up. Verify that the motor
insulation is above
1 MΩ.
Check that the wear of the propeller does not compromise the performance of the machine. If the propeller is worn, it
could have cutting edges and blades : pay attention and use special work gloves.
Check the oil in the sealed chamber for traces of liquid or emulsions.
OIL CHANGE PROCEDURE
- unscrew the oil cap and replace always the o-ring on it
- drain the oil into a container to check it
- fill up new oil with viscosity 10cst (SAE 10W), recommended quantity: 0,25 l;
- reassemble in reverse order
If the mechanical seal has failed, the oil chamber may be under pressure: to avoid
splashes, hold a cloth on the oil cap and unscrew carefully. Do not dispose of used oil in
the environment.

THE MIXER
DOES NOT START
the control device indicates a fault
check that the pump is cooled by the liquid and
that the propeller rotates freely, check that the
thermal protection is inserted correctly.
check that thermal sensors works
there is no voltage in the system
check that the main switch is activated, all the
phases of the power cable are under load, the
motor cable is not interrupted, the fuses have
continuity and are tightened
other problems contact an authorized workshop
THE MIXER IS BLOCKED
the pump is overloaded
check that the density of the liquid is not
excessive; disconnect the power supply and
check that the impeller rotates without difficulty
the current limiter has too low a regulation adjust the current limiter
the motor protection switch is damaged replace the motor protection switch
not all system phases are in voltage check the motor fuses or contact an electrician
other problems contact an authorized workshop
THE MIXER WORKS IN
ANOMALOUS WAY
the flow generated is not sufficient the propeller is worn and must be replaced
the mixer vibrates or is noisy
the propeller is damaged or unbalanced, the
bearings are worn out
the mixer will wear out abnormally
the liquid contains solid abrasives or is
chemically too aggressive for material of mixer
other problems contact an authorized workshop
