Connecting Cables to the RealPresence Collaboration Server
(RMX) 2000
Connect the following cables to the back panel:

Required.
Power cable

On the RTM IP card connect the LAN cable to
LAN 2
Port.

Optional.
If an RTM LAN card is installed on the RMX 2000, connect the LAN cable to
LAN 2.

Connect the
LAN
cable to
LAN 1.

Optional.
If an RTM ISDN card is installed on the RMX 2000, connect the E1/T1 Cables
to
PRI
Ports.
Do not remove the protective caps from LAN1, LAN3 and ShMG ports.

An RMX 2000 always requires that the RTM IP card be installed at the bottom slot on the rear of the
RMX 2000. RTM LAN and RTM ISDN cards are optional configurations that require a media card be
connected from the front of the RMX 2000. For more information see, "
