9850045 R01 - 2020-2021 RANGER 1000 Service Manual

9. Remove the prop shaft pinch bolts.

10. Detach the front gearcase vent hose.

11. Disconnect the AWD wire harness.

12. Remove the upper front gearcase nut and bolt.

13. Remove the lower front gearcase nut and bolt.

14. Slide the propshaft off the splines of the front

gearcase.

15. Remove the front gearcase through the opening in

the front of the chassis.
