9850045 R01 - 2020-2021 RANGER 1000 Service Manual

9. Remove the shift cable from the two floor retainers

under the propshaft tunnel cover.

10. Remove the storage bin above the battery.

11. Remove the shift cable from the retainer

near the

vehicle battery.

12. Remove the 10mm fastener

securing the shift

cable to the transmission.

13. Loosen the fasteners

securing the shift cable

brackets

to the transmission and remove the

brackets.

14. Remove the shift cable from the vehicle

15. Loosen the locknut

securing the shift cable to the

transmission bracket. Retain bracket for reassembly.
