8. CLEANING AND CARE
•
Before cleaning the device make sure that it is turned off, disconnected from the mains, and completely cold.
•
Do not delay cleaning of the device for a long time after use in order to avoid the filter clogging and the
formation of hard-to-remove residues on the parts of the coffee machine.
•
Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. Always ensure that water does not get into the electrical
connections.
•
Wipe the outside of the device with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use aggressive, abrasive cleaning agents or
organic solvents to clean the device.
•
Take off the filter holder and remove the remaining coffee from the filter. Wash the holder and filter in warm
water and wipe dry with a soft, non-lint-free cloth or sponge. (Check the inner holes of the filter, if they are
clogged, clean with a small brush (not included)).
•
Clean the filter holder seat with a damp cloth.
•
Remove the drip tray, drain the accumulated liquid, rinse with water and wipe with a soft cloth. Repeat this
procedure after each use of the device.
•
Periodically wash the inside of the water tank with a sponge or soft cloth.
•
For a deeper cleaning run one single espresso cycle with only water and a filter holder without a filter installed
inside
