• Mobile components cleaning :
- Dismantle axial screws and the ball following the leakage fixing procedures above.
- Make sure none of components is damaged, if the case, replace it.
- Clean the ball and the screws with a cleaning agent.
- Clean the body (mark 1), gaskets ’ grooves and threads in particular.
- Rinse the components with clean water
- Make sure there is no dirt or debris.
- Change the gaskets and assemble the components as described in the procedures above.
• Installation procedure:
It is important to check the following points before every running of the equipment:
- Be sure there is no missing components
- Be sure none of damaged components is assembled
- Put a cap with a drain-cock on the stream shaper (mark 9) and test the nozzle under pressure
(open the drain-cock, close it when water starts to flow), slowly increase the pressure till 12 bars and
leave it under pressure for about 5 minutes. Make sure there is no leakage.
- Put the diffuser on the stream shaper (mark 9) and test the nozzle under the normal working pressure
of 7 bars. Be sure that the shutoff opens and closes smoothly.
Check the functionning of the ball (mark 3) by rotating it in all directions. No hard or blocking points
should be observed. Duration of the operation is about 10 min.
If no disfunctionning of the Froggy 2.5’’ nozzle is observed, you may start operating the nozzle.
