Removing the RipDrive 

 

Double-click on 

  in the System Tray to bring up the following window: 

 

 

Click "Stop" and when the "Safe to Remove Hardware" dialog box appears, click "OK." Be sure to remove 

the USB cable only after you have cleared the dialog box by clicking "OK". 

 

 

 

1. When performing a 

Save

 or 

Delete

 operation, DO NOT remove the USB cable before such an operation 

is completed because you will lose data. 

Also, even if a task appears to be complete, there might be certain operations still going on internally. 

Remove the USB cable only after you have confirmed the completion of such tasks. 

2. Both uploading and downloading to/from this product consume a vast amount of power. Discharging
