Checking the Installation 

 

Follow this procedure to determine if the required USB driver is installed properly. Right-click on 

My 

Computer

 and click 

Properties

. On Windows 2000 and XP, select the 

Hardware

 tab and click the 

Device 

Manager

 button. On Windows 98, select the 

Device Manager

 tab. The Device Manager dialog box will 

open.  

 

If the required USB driver is installed correctly, it will be indicated as shown below: 

 

 

 

A new icon (

) will also appear in the System Tray.
