PlexTools® Installation and Operation Manual

For ATAPI drives only:

•

Jumper Settings:

gives a visual indication of the settings on the selected drive

•

IDE Setup:

shows if the drive is connected as

master

slave

on the IDE bus

•

Serial Number:

shows the drive’s serial number.

•

Buffer Capacity:

indicates the drive’s buffer memory capacity.

Note: CD-ROM drives and peripherals from other manufacturers will also be shown in
the hardware list if they are supported and functional, but only for Plextor drives all
information will be shown.
