TIF
By
selecting
this
mode,
you
will
be
able
to
scan
your
image
in
black
and
white.
Also
the
image
will
be
saved
in
you
DocuPen
Xseries
scanner
in
the
*.TIF
format.
It
is
recommended
that
you
choose
this
mode
when
you
are
scanning
an
image
that
contains
only
black
and
white
colors.
By
doing
so,
you
can
optimize
the
memory
space
on
your
DocuPen
Xseries
scanner.
Mode:
GRAY
JPG
By
selecting
this
mode,
you
will
be
able
to
scan
your
image
in
grayscale
mode.
Basically
it
is
similar
to
B&W
mode,
except
the
black
is
not
100%
black.
There
will
be
different
levels
of
gray
representing
all
the
non
‐
white
colors
in
your
image.
The
image
will
be
saved
in
you
DocuPen
Xseries
scanner
in
the
*.JPEG
format.
Mode:
COLOR
By
selecting
this
mode
you
will
be
able
to
scan
the
image
in
color.
This
will
take
up
the
most
space
on
your
memory
card
in
your
DocuPen
Xseries
scanner.
Resolution
[DPI]
:
Represents
the
resolution
[DPI
‐
dots
per
inch]
which
you
would
like
to
scan
your
image
with.
There
can
be
3
resolution
[DPI]
settings
chosen.
150
DPI:
150
dots
per
inch,
this
is
the
lowest
quality
of
sharpness
at
which
the
image
can
be
scanned.
300
DPI:
300
dots
per
inch,
this
is
a
very
good
quality
of
sharpness
at
which
the
image
can
be
scanned.
600
DPI:
600
dots
per
inch,
this
is
highest
quality
of
sharpness
at
which
the
image
can
be
scanned
Select
Scan
:
Represents
the
images
that
have
been
scanned
and
saved
in
PRINTSTIK
Mode
ONLY
on
your
DocuPen
Xseries
scanner.
This
setting
allows
you
to
select
the
scans
saved
in
the
memory
bank
and
them.
There
are
two
options
you
can
choose
in
this
setting.
SCAN:
LAST:
Allows
you
to
the
latest
image
you
have
just
scanned.
ARCHIVE
SCAN:
NOTE:
It
is
required
to
have
a
MicroSD
inserted
into
DocuPen
Xseries
scanner
in
order
to
use
the
Archive
Scan
option.
This
option
allows
you
to
save
and
archive
the
latest
image
you
have
just
scanned.
By
Archiving
your
scanned
image,
you
can
retrieve
later
for
printing.
