6. BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before you operate the appliance for the first time:
A)
Adjust the water softener.
B)
Pour 500 ml water into the container of the water softener and pour in the
water softener (= dishwasher salt, approx. 2 kg).
C)
Pour in the rinse aid.
D)
Select a washing programme.
A. Water softener
You must set the amount of the water softener manually. Carry out the setting
according to the local water hardness. You can receive all relevant information
from your local water supplier.
Setting of the water softener consumption:
It is required to set the proper amount of the water softener based on the water
hardness range to optimize and customize the water softener consumption. Carry
out the setting as follows.
1.
Unscrew the cap of the water softener container.
2.
There is a ring with an arrow on it on the
container. Rotate the ring t for refilling.
You can set the consumption of water softener from H0 to H7. Salt is not required
when the value H0 is set.

You need to get the information on the local water hardness range. You can
receive all relevant information from your local water supplier.

You find the values for proper setting on the schedule below.

Close the door.
4.
Press the ON/OFF button.
5.
Hold the Delay button and press the Programme button for 5 seconds. You will
hear an acoustical signal once. H flashes on the display. The factory setting is
H4.
