Transport and handling
NOTICE!
Strictly observe the following safety instructions
to avoid any damage to your appliance.
1.
If you move the appliance, hold it at its base and lift it up carefully. Hold the
appliance in an upright position.
2.
Never use the doors to move the appliance. This will damage the hinges.
3.
The appliance must be transported by at least
two persons
.
4.
The supply cord must not be caught under the appliance while or after moving
it.
5.
When you unpack the appliance, you should take note of the position of every
part of the interior accessories in case you have to repack and transport it at a
later time.
Intended use of the appliance
1.
Do not use the base, the drawers, the doors etc. to stand on or as supports.
2.
Do not touch the heating elements while operating the appliance or shortly
afterwards.
3.
Only operate the appliance when all related parts are in proper position. Do not
open the door during operation as hot water may squirt out of the appliance.
4.
Do not put any heavy items on the opened door as the appliance can tilt
forwards.
5.
When you fill the appliance:
a.
Place sharp-edged items in such a way, that they will not damage the door
seals.
b.
Place sharp knives with the handle at the top to prevent cut injuries.
c.
Place sharp knives with the tip at the bottom or in a horizontal position.
6.
Plastic dishes must never touch the heating elements.
7.
Only put dishwasher-proof plastic dishes in the appliance. Suitable dishes is
labelled by the manufacturer.
8.
Check after each washing that the detergent container is empty.
9.
Only use
special dishwasher detergents
and additives which are made for
dishwashers.
10.
Dishwasher detergents are extremely alkaline and very dangerous when
swallowed.
