When you select either of the options, a prompt is displayed asking you whether you
want to continue the action. Answer
No
(default) or
Yes
, and then proceed the reset.
Firmware Update
Update the firmware using a USB drive. Make sure the update file is stored in the root
directory of the USB drive before you update the firmware, and then insert the USB
drive into the USB port on the F4 front panel.
Tap
Firmware Update
to enter the firmware update screen.
Tap Update. The system will automatically read the update files in the inserted USB
drive.
If you have inserted a USB drive into the device, you can tap Update to start the
update process; otherwise, an
Insert USB
button appears to remind you to insert a
USB drive first.
Firmware update
Select the target update file and tap
OK
.
Select the desired modules to be updated and tap
OK
.
After the update, a message saying "
Update succeeded
." will appear if the update is
successfully performed. A message saying "
Update failed.
" will appear if the update
fails and you can contact our technical support staff for help.
Project File
Import and export the project file using a USB drive. Make sure the project file is
stored in the root directory of the USB drive before you import the project file, and
then insert the USB drive into the USB port on the F4 front panel. You can save the
current configuration as an independent project file for easy use in future.
