6 • Maintenance

Replacing the
Printhead

continued…

8. Open the latch and move it toward the

front of the machine (B).

9. Lift the old printhead up and out of the

well as shown (C).

CAUTION!

Make sure the printhead nozzle points up to avoid

ink drips.

10. Remove the new printhead from its package.
11. Hold the printhead so the label faces the front of the mailing machine

(you can only install the printhead one way). Carefully push the new
printhead in position; press down as far as it will go.

12. Snap the printhead latch back in position.
13. Close the front cover.
14. Follow the prompts to restart the machine.
This completes the printhead installation.
