force the star washer over the bolt housing to the cowling and, at the same time, clear
the pin at the base of the bolt.

30. Widen all the new holes drilled in the fuselage´s rim with Ø7 drill bit and give the holes
outer edge a nice chamfer with dremel tool and a round grinding bit.
31. Use the threaded insert gun and install the holes with the threaded inserts.

32. Use M4 bolts to fasten the lower cowling to the fuselage and quick connect bolt´s to
connect the upper cowling to the fuselage.
33. Inspect the lower cowling cutout for the nose wheel strut. The cutout should be about
8 cm wide and the gap between the cowling and the shock absorber mounting should
be at least 1,5 cm. If needed remove the fairing, use dremel tool to widen the cutout
and smoothen the edge with sandpaper. Repeat the inspection.
