Using individual sound effects
There are three individual sets of sound effect presets; Equalizer,
Zoom Surround and P.Bass.
Equalizer mode
Use the Equalizer mode to emphasize or de-emphasize the bass,
middle or treble sounds.
1 Press EQUALIZER (front panel) to switch between
presets,
Alternatively, press
EQUALIZER
once then turn the
JOG
to morph
from one preset to the next.

FLAT
– the original sound with no effects
•
TECHNO
– emphasized highs for electronic music
•
HIP HOP
– deep bass for heavy beats
•
SOUL
– brings out the vocal frequencies in the mix
•
ROCK
– strong mid frequencies for driving guitar sounds
Zoom Surround mode
Zoom Surround alters the apparent location of the speakers; either
closer together or further apart than they actually are.
1 Press ZOOM SURROUND (front panel only) to switch
between presets.
Alternatively, press

once then turn the
JOG
dial to morph from one preset to the next.

OFF
– the original sound with no effects

NEAR +1 – +5
– five different ‘close’ settings
•
FAR +1 – +5
– five different ‘wide’ settings
P.Bass mode
Switch on P.Bass for deep, extended bass.
1 Press P.BASS (front panel) to switch between presets.

MID
– boosts lower-mid frequencies

WIDE
– accentuates bass and lower-mid frequencies

– boosts low bass only
