You can use this unit to control a XM satellite di-
gital tuner (GEX-P910XM), which is sold
separately.
For details concerning operation, refer to the
XMtuner
s operation manuals. This section
provides information on XMoperations with
this unit which differs from that described in
the XMtuner
s operation manual.

This unit does not have the text scroll
function.

With this unit, you can operate one addi-
tional function: XMchannel direct
selection.

XM band indicator
Shows the XMband which has been
selected.

XM channel select setting indicator
Shows what channel select setting has
been selected.
CH
is displayed when
Channel number
is selected, and
CAT
is
displayed when
Category
is selected.

XM preset number indicator
Shows what XMpreset has been selected.

XM channel number indicator
Shows to which XMchannel number the
tuner is tuned.

XM channel name
Shows the channel name of broadcast
channel.
1 Press SOURCE to select the XM.
Press
SOURCE
until you see
XM
displayed.
2 Press BAND to select a XM band.
Press
BAND
repeatedly until the desired XM
band is displayed,
XM-1
,
XM-2
or
XM-3
.
3 To performtuning, push Multi-Control
left or right.
The channels move up or down step by step.
Channels that cannot currently be selected
are skipped, and the next channel is selected.

If you push and hold
Multi-Control
left or
right, you can increase or decrease channel num-
ber continuously.

You can also perform tuning from a desired
channel category. (Refer to
Selecting the channel
in the channel category
on page 47.)
