Route Preferences

In the R

OUTE

REFERENCES

window you can specify your driving

profile and establish the type of route that should be calculated
as standard. The setting carried out here effects the calculation of

the probably driving time.

Tap on the Route Preferences button.

Speed profile

The current setting is displayed on the button.

Tap on the button in order to open the S

Tap on the profile that corresponds to your driving profile.

Route Type

The current setting is displayed on the button.

Tap on the Route Type button in order to toggle between the

various modes:

Option

Meaning

Dynamic

This option is only available if the system
uses the TMC kit ND-TMC1.
With this option you will be warned when
a traffic incident occurred on your route.

You have then the possibility to let AVIC-
S1 recalculate the route in order to evade

the incident.
Without TMC reception the Fast route is
calculated.

Fast route

This option calculates the shortest route in
terms of time.

Short route

This option calculates the shortest route in
terms of distance.
