Some individual services in an ensemble may be
further subdivided into Service Components. The
main Service Component is called the Primary Ser-
vice Component, and any auxiliary Service Compo-
nents are called Secondary Service Components.
Storing and recalling stations
You can easily store up to six stations for each
band as presets.

Six stations for each band can be stored in
memory.

Channels are stored and recalled on a
broadcast station basis.

Display the preset channel list screen.

The preset channel list appears in the display.

Touch and hold down one of the preset
tuning keys to store the selected frequency
to the memory.
The selected radio station frequency has been
stored in the memory.

Touch the appropriate preset tuning
key to select the desired station.
Listening to a recent
broadcast (time shift)
You can navigate through recent broadcasts
from the selected Service Component.

Touch Time Shift to switch to time shift
mode.
Touch Live to resume the live broadcast.

Drag the scrubber bar on the screen to
adjust the playback point.

Drag the scrubber to the left to skip back
one minute.

Drag the scrubber to the right to skip for-
ward one minute.
This unit stores recent broadcasts to memory
automatically. The memory capacity of this
unit will vary depending on the bit rate of the
Service Component used. The approximate
memory capacity is five minutes for 192 kbps.
Stored selections that are older than what can
be stored in the memory will not be available.
Pausing
You can use the pause function to temporarily
stop listening to a DAB.

Touch Time Shift to switch to time shift
mode.

Touch Pause and Play to pause playback
temporarily.

If the duration that a selection is paused ex-
ceeds the length of the memory capacity,
playback will resume from the beginning of
the selection in memory.

You can select a Service Component from the
