Before You Start

Section

Using navigation

These are the basic steps necessary to oper-
ate the navigation. For more details and vari-
ous functions, refer to

Section 02: Navigation

starting on page 20.

Press OPEN to open the front panel.

CD loading slot appears.

If an audio CD is in the loading slot, press the

button and remove it.

Insert a Navigation CD into the CD

loading slot.

Reading of the disc starts.

Close the front panel.

If the navigation system has not yet been cali-

brated, a calibration journey is prompted (refer to
“Installation manual”).

When the Audio screen is shown, press

NAVI/OK to enter the Navigation mode.

The main navigation menu appears after a
while. Refer to

Main navigation menu

page 21.

Select “DESTINATION” by moving the

rotary stick.

• Clockwise (or right): Next
• Counter-clockwise (or left): Back

Note

You can also select items by moving the rotary
stick up or down.

Confirm the selection by pressing

NAVI/OK.

Use

NAVI/OK

not only to switch the display

from the Audio screen to the Navigation screen,
but also to set an item after selecting it.
