Separate cables into groups. Supply and signal
leads should be laid separately

Use shielded cables for analogue and data
leads; use metallic plugs; connect cable shields
to shield bar at point of entry to cabinet; con-
nect cable shields over a wide surface area and
with low impedance
Equipotential bonding car-
ried out?
If the installation extends over a wide area: lay
equipotential bonding cable.
Are inductive loads
switched?
Inductive loads that are not switched by digital
outputs on the PSSu must be wired with sup-
pression elements.
24 VDC power supply?
As regards safe separation, power supplies
must conform to EN 60950-1, 02.2011, section
2.3, EN 61558-1, 11/2006 or EN 50178, 10/97
