5. Functions in combination with the computer software „PIKO Messwagen ConfigTool“
As the PIKO SmartMeasure Car offers so many features it‘s not possible to do all settings with the pushbuttons or the app directly.
Therefore we offer a free configuration software which allows you to setup several things easily on the computer while the car is connected via
USB. You can find the software in our web shop at www.piko-shop.de/?a=mw .
5.1 Installation and start of the software „PIKO Messwagen ConfigTool“
Download the software in our PIKO web shop and save it on your computer.
An installation before use is not required.
Before starting the configuration software, please check if your computer connects with the PIKO SmartMeasure
Car via USB properly.
In case your computer cannot install the correct USB drivers for the car, please additionally download the driver
package “CDM21226_Setup.exe”. You can find it on the same page as the other software.
This software will then install the necessary FTDI-drivers to connect via USB properly. After this installation the
PIKO SmartMeasure Car will connect properly.
5.2 Program functions
To do changes on the car, please press „Connect” after the car has been connected via USB.
The other functions will now become available.
5.2.1 Update / Reset
The cars firmware can be updated here or you can reset the car to factory settings.
5.2.2 WiFi Configuration
Here you can assign a new SSID (network name) or a password for the car. If you want to connect the car with a
router you need to enter the related data here.
