BEFORE PLACING OVEN IN SERVICE!!!
1) Secure Oven base to the ground (See Securing
Instructions).
2) Run oven at 350°F (177°C) for two hours with the vent
hole fully open and the oven door slightly open. This will
help to purge the oven of any contaminates.
3) Contact the wire manufacturer regarding the appropriate
temperatures for holding the spools of wire, specifically plas-
tic spools.
4) If using plastic spools in the oven, test a few spools in the
oven at the manufacturers recommended temperature. If
warping or core distortion occurs, turn temperature down
10°F (5°C) and retest. If necessary, continue testing.
Warning
Excess Heat: At the maximum setting, the actual tempera-
ture over the heating elements may reach 660oF (349°C).
Temperatures in excess of 550°F (288°C) are not recom-
mended and may cause oven damage and/or unacceptably
high exterior surface temperatures.
Repair - Spare Parts

repair parts list for your oven. For critical welding operations
requiring continuous holding we would suggest carrying all
of the parts listed in the “Suggested Spare Parts Section” of
these instructions.

All wiring should be done by licensed electricians in accordance with local codes. Improper installation or use
may result in serious injury. Always remove oven from power source before troubleshooting or repairing.
