Warning Attach and detach the V-Module only when necessary.
Frequently attaching and detaching (multiple times per day) the
V-Module can ultimately damage your Velo 500.
To remove the V-Module

Be sure your Velo 500 is turned off.

Slide the latch on the bottom of the V-Module into the
unlock position.

Push back the V-Module release button, and remove the
V-Module.
4
Close the connector door on your Velo 500.
To install a PC Card in the V-Module

Slide the PC Card into the V-Module’s card slot until it
locks in place.
You can use Type I or Type II PC Cards with the V-Module. For a
list of supported cards, see the Philips Velo 500 Web site at
http://www.mobile.philips.com/
To remove a PC Card from the V-Module

Push the PC Card release button located next to the PC
Card slot.

Remove the PC Card from the V-Module card slot.
