To remove a DRAM Miniature Card
Caution Make sure your data will fit into your Velo 500 after
removing the DRAM Miniature Card.

Back up your Velo 500 using Windows CE Services on
your desktop computer. (For instructions on backing up
your Velo 500, see Windows CE Help on your desktop
computer.)

Quit all programs, and turn off your Velo 500.
Caution If you remove all main and backup batteries and
disconnect external power, you will lose all information
you have entered. You can restore this data from the backup
file on your desktop computer; however, the information
will be only as current as the most recent backup. Make
sure you back up your Velo 500 immediately before
removing all batteries.

Remove all batteries (including the backup battery).

Remove the screw from the DRAM Miniature Card slot,
and remove the door to the slot.

Push the tip of the stylus between the DRAM Miniature
Card and the white latch (See Figure 7). The DRAM
Miniature Card will pop up.
