LCD:
Liquid Crystal Display

the remote.
LED:
Light Emitting Diode, the red indicator at the top of the
remote.
Button Frame:
This is the square around a button in the LCD. It
can have a name inside the square or the button can be just the
“frame.”
Mode button:
This means any button in the LCD that changes
the mode that the remote is in, e.g. TV

A countdown timer to turn your TV of

after some specified number of minutes you set.
Punch-thr
ough:
A command that “punches-through from one
mode to another
, e.g., TV volume can work even while the
remote is in VCR mode.
Backlighting:
lights up the LCD so you can see it in the dark. Set
to come on automatically in low light conditions.
