Changing the name of your base station

Press 

R

BASE NAME

 is displayed, then press

If the base station has a name, this will be displayed. You can delete the 
existing name using the

 key.  If the base station has no name, 

BASE 

NAME?

 will be displayed.

Enter the new name (max. 8 characters) using the handset keypad 

(refer to 

“Using the handset keypad to enter characters”

 on page 25).

Making an internal call

When you have more than one handset, you can make internal calls free of charge 

between handsets registered with the same base station. 

Press

.

You hear the internal dial tone and the 

t

 symbol is shown on the display.

Dial the number of the handset you want to call, or press 

*

 to call all 

your handsets.

To hang up, press 

t

 or replace the handset in the charger.

Note:

If you press 

*

 to call all handsets, and one of your handsets is in Baby Sit mode, 

then this handset will take the call.

Transferring calls 

You can transfer an outside call from one handset to another handset registered 

with the same base station. 

During the call, press 

e

.

The outside call is put on hold.

Dial the number of the handset to which you wish to transfer the call, 

or press 

*

 to call all the handsets.

The handset(s) called start(s) ringing.

Once the other handset answers, you can either:

- Transfer the call by pressing 

t

.

- Switch back and forth between the other handset and your outside 

call by using 

e

.

If the other handset does not reply, you can return to your outside call by 
pressing 

e

, or you can hang up both your outside and inside call by 

pressing 

t

.
