If your TV is not equipped with an
S-VIDEO connector, connect your TV
through the corresponding
CVBS A
or Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y

output.
Notes: On the TV
- The S-Video In jack may be labeled as
Y/C, S-Video or S-VHS.
- The CVBS jack may be labeled as Video,
Composite or Baseband and is usually
yellow.
- The Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y jacks may be labeled
as Component Video In or YUV and are
usually green, blue and red.
Helpful Hints:
IMPORTANT!
NEVER set the
P(rogressive) SCAN switch to
ON position, unless your TV can
accept progressive signals
(Progressive Scan TV) and you
have connected the TV using the
Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y jacks.

You can listen to normal TV
broadcast channels through the
home cinema sound system from
such an audio connection.
When listening to TV programmes,
you have to set the DVD system
to
TV/AV
mode in order for the
sound to be heard.

DO NOT CONNECT
any video outputs from your DVD system directly to a VCR
first and then a TV. This type of connection may distort the picture and sound playback.
Video Out with RF modulator

Your TV may have only an RF-style jack,
usually labeled Antenna In or 75 ohm. You will need an RF modulator in order to view the
playback of DVDs on your TV. Ask your dealer for details on RF modulator availability and
compatibility. Follow the instructions provided with the RF modulator to connect the DVD
system to your TV.
