Reset instructions
In the unlikely event the Switch is not functioning properly or becomes unresponsive
perform the following actions:
1. Remove the wall switch module from your accessory configuration in the Hue app from
the configuration screen
2. Turn off the circuit breaker
3. Get access to the wall switch module by dismounting the light switch
4. Press and hold the reset button > 10 seconds until the red light blinks (image 1)
4a.Replace the battery if the red light doesn’t blink (see next page)
5. Make sure push-in wire connector (EU) and wire nut (US and CAN) are still secure in
place showing no copper part outside it
6. Put back the wall switch module and light switch
7. Turn on the circuit breaker
8. Re-install the Hue wall switch module in
the app
