Changing the knife
Rule
The knife must be replaced when the cutting performance deteriorates.
●
Open the tensioning lever on the loading clamp.
●
Loosen the star knob screws and push the loading clamp in the direction of the arrow.
●
Disassemble the retaining collar

and remove the cylinder

●
Loosen the screws

and remove the toothed belt
4.
●
Pivot the knife unit

upwards.
●
Replace the knife

making sure that the largest diameter of the knife

does
not touch the thread catcher

●
If necessary, remove the thread catcher

and insert the support plate.
●
Fit the toothed belt

press against the bar

and tighten the screws

●
Mount the cylinder

and fit the retaining collar

●
Push the loading clamp back until it stops, close the tensioning lever and tighten the star
knob screws.
