Keyboard

The keyboard is used for the quick operation of the machine during sewing and when selec-

ting the fullness. With the corresponding LED of the 

20

 keys, active key functions are displa-

yed (Function active = LED lit).

Single stitch

If the single stitch key is pressed, the machine sews a single stitch.

Stitch condensation 

(only on the PFAFF 5487)

The stitch condensation is switched on and off by pressing a key. 

 

●

(When programming the seam: Sew the seam section with condensed stitches)

Activated functions are shown with inverted symbols. Unframed symbols or texts are only 

used for display purposes and cannot be selected by pressing. 

To read sewing programs or install machine software, use the sd-card

 in the control 

panel.

Normal symbol = function switched off (inactive)

Inverted symbol = function switched on (active)
