Extendo and Traverse Operation and Maintenance Manual

800-GO-PETTIBONE

Procedures included in the following paragraphs

cover those that can normally be achieved by

the owner or operator, using common hand tools.

for more complex maintenance, see advanced

Maintenance Manual or contact an authorized

dealer or service representative.

Replace fuel filter Elements

(at 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 hours)

Working through the right side engine

compartment opening, clean the filter head to

prevent fuel contamination during filter element

replacement.

Using a filter wrench, remove the filter element.

apply a light film of oil to the seal of the new

element.

Install the filter. Hand tighten the element only.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

Prime the fuel system.

start the engine and allow it to idle while

checking for leaks. Correct leaks if found.
