Important:
Before making any connections, switch off the mains power to all compo-
nents in your system.
1 Balanced Input
The balanced (XLR) inputs accept signals from a source component with
balanced outputs.
The pin assignments of the XLR input connectors are:
Connecting - Rear panel

Pin 1: Signal ground
Pin 2: (non-inverting)
Pin 3: Signal – (inverting)
Shield ground: Chassis ground
Please refer to the owner’s manual of your balanced output source to
verify that the pin assignments of the output connectors correspond to the
éloquence 250i. If this is not the case, wire the cables so that the appropri-
ate output pin connects to the equivalent input pin.
